The representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Tokyo, Mr. Ahmed Ghanim, participated in the closing ceremony of a training course, on 22 November, which was organized by Japan, Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) in coordination with Japan Productivity Center (JPC). The training course was entitled (Human Resource Management) and held for the period starting from 9th to 23rd November 2013. This course was attended by twenty Iraqi trainees who work in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
During this event, certificates were handed over to the participants by Mr. Ikegaya, Training Division of JOGMEG and Mr. Fujii, International Cooperation Dept. of JPC, and Embassy’s representative.
Mr. Ghanim delivered a speech during this occasion; he expressed the Embassy’s gratitude to JOGMEG and JCP for inviting these trainees who will contribute to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries in addition to build a special relationship between the Iraqi oil and gas sectors and their Japanese counterparts.
The closing ceremony was attended by Ms. Zena Al-Khaleel, Attaché at the Embassy.
