Are We too busy to talk about Islam in Japan or elsewhere? That is the very question I often ask myself, and, to some of my close friends wherever I go in the country or any foreign land.
Although, all of us claim we can give our very own lives for the sake of our beloved Deen, many of us do not want to give our valuable time and money and other resources to spread the message of Islam in Japan.
Being ordinary human beings, we do not think about spending enough amount of time for Dawah` work at our local mosques nor do we find enough time to discuss or learn what Islam is all about with our non-Muslim friends, acquaintances or the like.
The Japanese society needs to understand the peaceful message Islam has to give not only to its adherents but also to people from other faiths. But who is going to deliver this message in which way and when? That is the fundamental question we need to discuss ourselves as it is mostly the duty of the Muslims who are already living in the country and not the Muslims from other lands who do not know any thing about Japan, have no understanding of the culture or simply do not know how to speak the Japanese language.
We need to pause for a moment in our lives and think seriously whether we truly believe in what we say or preach. We need to make sure that we take some definite steps to do the real Dawah work before it is too late.
